Tasting from 07.10.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright ruby core. A spicy-smoky nose with hints of dark berries, milk chocolate, light malt, then nuances of dark berries and a touch of rose petal. On the palate a subtle drive and focus is woven into the very rich tannin. Grippy but also slightly oily fruit, opens up to more aromatic nuances. Offers very good potential to age.
