The red wine Maggiarino Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery La Braccesca has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red. Very open-hearted on the nose, rich plums and ripe cherries, with something of Rumtopf, then oak, a hint of dried plums, a bit meaty, with a finish of blackberry cordial and milk chocolate. Dense on the palate with a rich fruit core, enveloping, with tight, gripping tannins and a long finish, juicy.
