The red wine Magdalena, vintage 2019 from the winery La Madeleine – André Fontannaz et filles has been rated in 2022 by Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Valais in Switzerland.
Intense fruity aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and plum on the nose. Hints of rum pot and caramel toffee as well as orange zest and some coffee. Smooth on the palate, with juicy acidity and soft, ripe tannins. Dark fruit aromas and chocolate on the long finish.
