Dark, intense ruby with a slight violet shimmer. Smells of tobacco on the nose, then beautiful notes of cassis, some coriander. Flourishes on the palate, lots of crisp, dark berry fruit, cassis and blueberries, very juicy, fine-meshed tannins give the wine very good length.
