The sweet and dessert wine Campogerico Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Le Marognole has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Rondinella , Corvina Veronese, Corvinone Veronese
Rich, deep dark ruby-violet. Slightly obscured nose, initially exhibiting savoury notes, as well as blood orange, then dried cherry and plum. A lovely joyous onset followed by lush sweet fruit, with grippy tannins, unfortunately, finishes with distinct bitter notes.
