Tasting from 12.10.2022: Ulrich Sautter

A hint of gold colour in the glass. The aroma is powerful and shows hints of Vin Nature and Ruländer: honey, baked apple, dried pear, nougat de Montélimar, but also damp limestone, pepper and herbs. On the palate, fine-grained, dense phenolics contrast with a slightly oily, plump body. The firm acidity gives the structure stability and a vertical appearance. The finish reveals a hint of oak and fruity aromas such as grape sugar, candied orange peel and orange confit. Full of character and very independent!
