The red wine Pavar Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Lis Fadis has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Refosco from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Dark, almost impenetrable ruby red. On the nose deep notes of fine oak and toast, lots of wild berryish fruit, Amarena cherry and dark chocolate, in the echo hazelnut and light malt. Shows on the palate with a lot of wood, dark fruit and nice juiciness, in the finish unfortunately drying wood again, still needs a lot of time.
