The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2015 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dense, dark ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Opens with rich, fleshy notes, lots of cherries and plums, underpinned by notes of liquorice, inviting. Lots of powerful, gripping tannins on the palate, beautiful dark berry fruit, but becomes a little angular and brittle on the finish, still needs additional maturity.
