The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Brunello di Montalcino in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby. Intense, fleshy nose with rich notes of preserved berries, especially blackberry, then also a lot of plum, some white pepper in the background, exciting. Firm, very taut tannins on the palate, builds well, but then becomes quite brittle on the finish, still needs a long ageing period.
