The red wine Cerretta Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Luigi Baudana has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby colour with a slight garnet shimmer. Opens with intense fruity notes of cranberry, pomegranate and fresh cherries, with a hint of truffle in the background. Lots of ripe, vivid fruit on the palate, of blackberries and raspberries, opens with gripping, yet fine-meshed tannins at the core, shows many layers, savoury and with a long finish.
