The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Lunadoro has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
An intense, bright ruby red colour. It is spicy and fruity on the nose, with rich amarena cherry, black elderberry, a light hint of alcohol, and finest chocolaty notes. It is juicy and vivid on the palate, and it nicely unfolds across the tongue, with a creamy fruit display, good length, and again with a nice fruitiness on the finish.
