The red wine Pagliareto Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Lunadoro has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby. A nose of rich cherry fruit, plus some raspberry confit, then after a bit of time, fine dried petals, a hint of orange zest and white pepper. Soft milk chocolate initially on the palate, then crisp red berry fruit, wrapped in juicy-youthful tannins, grippy, currently still quite drying on the finish.
