The red wine Quercione Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Lunadoro has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, radiant brick red with garnet rim. Aromas of roasted plum and pickled wild berries and dried rose petal, with a clove finish. Powerful notion on the palate, interwoven tannins are deposited throughout the palate, fresh acidity loosens up the drink, wiry with a compact core, slightly drying on the finish.
