The red wine Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Lungarotti has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sagrantino from the region Umbria in Italy.
Rich ruby red with garnet reflections and a brightening rim. Intense aromas of dark ripe cherries and plums, cinnamon and vanilla pods as well as leather and coffee beans on the nose. Very fresh and juicy on the palate, with hints of herbal aromas and grippy, still somewhat youthful tannins.
