The sweet and dessert wine Vin Santo Torgiano DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Lungarotti has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Trebbiano, Grechetto from the region Umbria in Italy.
Brilliant dark orange with golden reflections. Fine cinnamon on the nose, dried date, dried fig, apricot, some Siegallack, Pêche Melba. Creamy oily palate, cool fruit, very well balanced in sugar and acidity, substantial, clean, plus fine salty hints, still seems very young, harmonious, radiant pleasure.
