Tasting Notes
Strong color, a hint of "gris". Smells spicy and typical of the Rhône: licorice, wallpaper paste, cooked pear, wood. Powerful palate, viscous and full of tension, salty with a stable acidity that provides support in the background. Soft, silky mid-palate with a subtle woody character, impressively complete with aromatic power, not alcoholic despite the plump structure. 55% Marsanne, 20% Grenache Blanc, 15?% Roussanne and 10?% Viognier, wines from the north and south, one-year barrique.
