The red wine Ceppeto Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Mannucci Droandi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo from the region Chianti in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red. Very dark spice on the nose, with notes of ripe wild berries, black cherries, plum compote, plus chocolate powder and fine earthy tones, revealing and peculiar. Grippy, very vivid tannins on the palate, plus rich, inky fruit. The drying finish unfortunately is a bit too marked by tannins.
