The red wine Foglia Tonda Toscana IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Mannucci Droandi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Fogliatonda from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark ruby red in colour with subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, aromas of molasses and walnut, slightly oxidative with notes of dark chocolate, dried fig, and alcohol. Plenty of tannin and earthy tones on the palate, very pronounced, needs plenty of time in the glass and fatty food!.
