The red wine Ripe al Convento Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Marchesi Frescobaldi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby red with shimmering edges. Playful aromas, with lots of fruit, cherry and redcurrant, lavender, violet and minty notes. Fruity on the palate too, builds up gradually, very juicy, with ripe tannins, animating acidity and a lingering, savoury finish.
