Tasting from 14.07.2021: Ulrich Sautter

Smoky and yeasty aroma with intense bâtonnage notes and discreet toasty wood, but the Chardonnay also makes itself known with aromas of polenta and iodine and saffron. Beautiful texture on the palate, a fullness with delicacy, cultivated acidity, mineral undertones elegantly underlining the freshness. Really fine.
