The sweet and dessert wine The Kings Series »A sticky End Noble Sauvignon Blanc«, vintage 2019 from the winery Marisco Vineyards has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Marlborough in New Zealand.
Golden yellow in colour with greenish reflections. A very fine botrytis character appears on the nose along with aromas of raisin, candied pineapple and dried fig. On the palate, the wine flows silkily with a fine sweetness and rather restrained acidity that only concentrates on the finish. Complex and relaxed, yet very well defined- a fine "sticky" in the style of a compromise between Sauternes and Beerenauslese.
