The white wine Marisco Craft Series Pride & Glory Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2015 from the winery Marisco Vineyards has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Marlborough in New Zealand.
From all hand-picked fruit, and matured for a short period in used oak, and produced in tiny quantity, this is Marisco's flagship. A wonderful opportunity to taste mature Sauvignon Blanc with evolved notes of smoky lime zest, wax and a most fluid, rich texture. There is rich fruit, almost like oily orange but the freshness is still pristine. A wonderful and new experience of Sauvignon Blanc with a long echo of mandarin.
