The red wine Kunstwerk Feuerbach Steingässle Spätburgunder, vintage 2018 from the winery Markgräfler Winzer eG has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
There's a fine initial ripeness on the nose of fig, malt, red berries and an earthy, "sweet" beet note. It's very round and homogeneous on the palate, with ripe but still somewhat grainy tannins alongside a restrained acidity creating a dense, powerful finish. Some mineral notes make for a distinctive, characterful single-vineyard wine.
