The red wine Barolo Villero DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Mascarello Giuseppe e Figlio has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear garnet core with a light bright rim. The nose opens with notes of saffron and leather and ample pomegranate scents. Round and polished on the palate, unfolds a fine-meshed tannin, embedded in a ripe sweet fruit based texture, juicy, long and very satisfying.
