The red wine Barolo DOCG Perno, vintage 2017 from the winery Mascarello Giuseppe e Figlio has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby with a slightly pale rim. Finely drawn nose with notes of cranberry, then fine wild raspberry, some truffle. Very nice drive on the palate, pithy, very well-integrated tannins, salty, long and with fine play.
