Bright, rich ruby with a fine garnet rim. Intense and very clear nose of raspberry, dark cherry and chocolate and some tobacco in the background. Juicy and rich on the palate, plenty of vivid fruit, then opens up with lots of finely meshed tannins. The wine is salty and deep, and lingers for a very long time.
