Rich, impenetrable ruby. Opens with slightly malty notes, then dried tomato, lots of blackberry and plum, earthy components. Round and velvety in the approach, opens with a lot of fine-meshed tannin, drags on for a long time, dark berry fruit, firm drive on the finish.
