The red wine Campolongo di Torbe Amarone della Valpolicella DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Masi has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, full ruby red. Slightly yeasty nose of ripe tropical fruit, lots of mirabelle and white flowers, different but appealing, slightly honeyed, complex. Full palate with lots of fruit, certain tautness, fine, coarse-grained tannin, seems very young, salty, persistent with a powerful finish.
