The red wine Barolo Margheria, vintage 2008 from the winery Massolino Vigna Rionda has been rated in 2012 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby colour with garnet shimmer. Very compact and dense nose, very mineral, then fine cherry and raspberry notes, pine needles in the background. Dense, grippy tannins throughout, fine texture at the core, develops in a multilayered way, slightly savoury notes in the aftertaste, a long finish.
