Tasting Notes
Clear, rich garnet with bright rim. The nose is initially somewhat restrained, then opens with charming notes of raspberry, some cinnamon and pickled cherries, with fennel in the background. Hearty and gripping on the palate, shows dense tannins embedded in fine red berry fruit, then a little showy in the finish, it still needs a lot of time.
