Rich, impenetrable ruby purple; very playful nose, shows in the foreground with subtle spicy notes, then intense dark cherries, some roasted hazelnuts; unfolds on the palate with fine-grained tannins, builds up nicely, lots of ripe cherry fruit, very clear, long finish.
