The white wine »Gentleman« Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Mehrlein has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
The gentleman in the style of the first half of the last century on the label obviously prefers to drink a mild Riesling version. There are lovely herbal notes of aniseed and coriander seed on the nose, and it is very juicy on the palate, with an almost slightly bitter character.
