Tasting from 24.09.2021: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark ruby with brightening edges. On the nose, initially tar, then ripe wild berries, rich cassis, slightly resinous undertone, also black leather and sealing wax, complex, with a finish of mint and strawberry confit. Present and grippy on the palate, opens compactly and with great ripeness, already drinking very well, shows some drying tannin on the finish, finishes full.
