The red wine Cerequio Barolo DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Michele Chiarlo has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant, deep ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Opens on the nose with notes of leather and truffle, then pickled plums and dried tomatoes. The palate is open and radiant, presenting ripe berry fruit and wild raspberries, and spreads rich and dense. Hearty tannin contribute to a firm drive on the finish.
