The white wine Cordillera Chardonnay Reserva Especial, vintage 2013 from the winery Miguel Torres Chile has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Central Valley in Chile.
Noble wood, and some piquancy in the underlying fruit: Passion fruit, lemon blossom, almost a hint of spring onion. Creamy base, and an acidity (rather green) that is not ideally fused with the (alcohol-driven) body. Has volume and a nice nose, but the palate seems a little broad and not (yet) well harmonized. Good length.
