The red wine Cordillera Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Especial, vintage 2011 from the winery Miguel Torres Chile has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Central Valley in Chile.
Some Marsala, hot fruit, elderberry pulp, dried plum, menthol, but also very clear (and ripe) cassis. Flatteringly round on the palate, velvety and warm without becoming too alcoholic, mild acidity and a tannin that does not emerge from the soft background despite its density. Good length, an everybody's darling without ingratiation.
