The red wine San Piero Toscana IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Montecalvi has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby red. Hearty nose of ripe raspberry and cherry, hint of mushroom, underlaid by discreet pepper spice. On the palate balsamic core, dark fruit, compact, however, becomes brittle on the finish then and dries up considerably.
