The red wine Costa delle Corone Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2011 from the winery Monteci has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella from the region Pescantina in Italy.
Dark, bright ruby red colour, rich. Slightly vegetal aromas on the nose, some pepper, geranium, ivy, blackcurrant, precious wood. Spicy on the palate, with beautiful fresh fruit and a noble vegetal undertone, but also a lot of wood, considerable aftertaste.
