Deep, dark garnet. Spicy, earthy nose of very ripe berries, fine dark chocolate and cassis, slightly resinous. Fruity-sweet and compact on the palate, builds up powerfully, a full sip, pithy, warm tannins, then unfortunately a delicate after-dryness on the finish.
