The red wine Il Presone Toscana IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Montenero - Podere Marinelli has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
This has a strong bright ruby colour. On a spicy nose there are aromas of amarena cherry, raspberry, and peach compote, as well as a hint of strawberry confit, and delicate vanilla sugar. It is balanced on the palate, with medium weight, and it drinks very well. It is a substantial and hearty food wine.
