Tasting Notes
Deep dark garnet. On the nose rich wood spiciness, slightly balsamic, then ripe blackberry, a little mint and liquorice. The wood dominates the palate, a massive wine, finishes dry and a little brittle.
More about the tastingIntense, deep ruby with purple. The nose is characterised by a strong use of wood, vanilla, shoe polish, some alcohol, preserved cherries. Wide-meshed on the palate, harsh and drying due to too much wood tannin.
