Sparkling, rich ruby; multi-layered nose with notes of licorice, dark blackberries, cherries, some chocolate; shows beautiful sweet fruit on the attack, fine melting, grippy tannin, but becomes a little wide-meshed on the finish, clearly noticeable alcohol, makes the wine rough on the finish.
