The red wine Don Antonio Sicilia DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Morgante has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright ruby red with black reflections. On the nose, nuances of freshly baked bread, roasted coffee and nougat, along with blackberry compote and a touch of varnish. Full-bodied and savoury on the palate, with a mouth-filling texture, a rustic powerhouse with a slightly harsh finish.
