The white wine Nama Chardonnay Südtirol DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Nals Margreid has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, rich straw yellow with light golden reflections. The nose has a subtle hint of cold smoke and fine oak, with hints of stone fruit, sealing wax and some chestnut cream in the background. Very rich and full-bodied on the palate, with rich, warm-hearted fruit and well-integrated acidity, unfortunately a little too warming in the finish.
