The red wine Rocche di Castiglione Barolo DOCG, vintage 2006 from the winery Oddero Poderi e Cantine has been rated in 2010 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Sparkling ruby garnet. Very beautifully drawn nose, polished, of preserved cherries and plums. Lots of firm and full-bodied tannins on the palate, builds richly, dense, still appears very young, but should prove to be a great classic over the years.
