The red wine »Privat Reserve« Pinot Noir, vintage 2012 from the winery Öko-Weingut Zang has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
Carried, dark berry aroma, black cherry, blackcurrant, sloe and also plum, finely spiced pipe tobacco. Powerful with dense extract in the mouth, not a bit tired, very vivid, with pure fruit, stable acidity and a mineral base. Ripe, mellow tannic structure, not a dancer, an athlete with stamina.
