Tasting Notes
Dark ruby with purple reflections and subtle brightening on the rim. Inviting aromas of dark cherry, hints of cassis and fine oak, with orange confit and subtle nougat, testifies to a cooler vintage. The taut, highly elegant palate has appealing fine chocolate and sweet black berry fruit, very complex and finely meshed, with nougat on the finish which is minerally and underscored by a subtle freshness. Already seems well developed, suitable for drinking now.
