Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, aromas of pleasant black berry fruit, delicate cassis, a hint of fig, subtle herbal spice, ripe cherry, fine minerality with notes of coconut and orange blossom in the background. The palate is powerful and finely meshed, with a fruity core, somewhat pronounced, demanding tannins and a subtle touch of dark chocolate on the finish which lacks length at the moment. Seemingly uncomplicated in youth, it has good ageing potential.
