The red wine Casalvecchio in Anfora Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Pagani de Marchi has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, bright dark ruby red. Initially somewhat reserved on the nose, then opens tentatively to nuances of wild berries, dried tomatoes and some rosemary, also savoury with pepper. Smooth drink with grippy tannins, fine texture with a slight creaminess, still needs time.
