The red wine Palari Faro DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Palari has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Nocera from the region Sicily in Italy.
Noble, dark ruby with rust-brown reflections. Balsamic and spicy on the nose, hints of wet stone, medicinal, with a ripe cranberry finish. Earthy on the palate, opens with grip, clear fruit with a distinctly spicy finish, has its own character, slightly drying on the finish, should be decanted beforehand.
